Through a Master Servicing agreement, VFI can manage the client’s entire process, including calls (inbound/outbound), skip-tracing to find borrowers, correspondence (e.g. monthly billing), payment processing and document management.

Risk Management Services (RMS): VFI solutions extend from beginning of the process to the very end. We provide unparalleled services—from originating loan documents, borrower repayment education and counseling, payment reminders, default prevention, payment processing and correspondence management. Using our experience, technology, and expertise, we can provide a range of additional services by subcontracting with highly capable specialty partners to address our client’s every need.

RMS focuses on specialized workflow processes for managing loan portfolios by proactively working with borrowers throughout the repayment cycle to mitigate default and optimize returns. RMS is specifically designed to consult borrowers when loans enter the repayment period to ensure they are fully informed of their obligations and that they begin repayment in a timely manner. Subsequently, throughout the repayment phase of the loan life cycle, RMS resolves short and long-term delinquencies in order to maximize cash flows to clients and avoid unnecessary defaults which would result in both a loss of capital and yield on capital. RMS has structured its offering based on the Company’s unique understanding of technology, asset value and customer-centric call center operations – all of which are derived from its historical core business of revenue optimization services for government and private sector clients.

Borrower Repayment Education and Counseling: Many student loan borrowers benefit from counseling as they finish their education and enter into their repayment agreements. Preparing borrowers to fulfill their obligations involves experienced counselors who can provide client-specific information and guidance to the borrower. To our clients every borrower who successfully begins his or her repayments on time adds value to their portfolio. VFI provides trained counselors who understand the client’s products and can provide expert counseling to the borrower.

Default Prevention and Aversion: An ounce of prevention…that is what VFI is to lenders who want to better manage their borrowers from defaulting.
